Workflow
Preview before payment.
- Upload a receipt as PDF, PNG, JPG, JPEG, or WEBP (up to 50 MB).
- Review sample rows free before payment.
- Unlock the full expense CSV when the preview is usable.
- Download rows with vendor, date, category, total, currency, subtotal, tax, payment method, and notes when each is safely detected.
Expected fields
Expense rows, not a full ledger.
- Date, vendor, category, and total.
- Currency, subtotal, and tax when shown.
- Payment method and notes when readable.
- A receipt with several readable pages exports as several rows.
Limits
Some receipts should fail.
Only PDF, PNG, JPG, JPEG, and WEBP files are accepted, up to 50 MB each.
If a vendor and total cannot be found, or extraction confidence is too low,
the job stops without an export. Blurry, tilted, cut-off, or unusual receipts
may fail. This is a beta module: AI Converter
does not claim support for every receipt layout, language, or currency.
Best fit
Good for reviewable receipt rows.
Use it when you need a spreadsheet version of a receipt, not accounting advice,
guaranteed categorization, or a receipt ledger. Compare the export against the
original receipt before submitting it anywhere important.
The first preview is free, so the fastest way to check fit is to
try a real receipt in the converter.
Use the preview as your quality gate.
AI Converter is built around a simple rule: inspect the sample before trusting the full export. That matters for
receipts, bank statements, invoices, screenshots, and other sensitive files because automated extraction can be
wrong when a photo is noisy, a receipt is crumpled or cut off, a scan is low quality, a file is damaged, or a
layout is unusual. The receipt preview shows extracted rows before payment — vendor, dates, totals, currency, and
any category, subtotal, tax, payment method, or notes that were safely detected.
If the preview looks wrong — missing vendor, shifted date, incorrect total — stop there instead of paying for a
full export. For expense reporting, compare the export with the paper or PDF receipt before submitting it to
bookkeeping, tax, or reimbursement systems. Keep the privacy pages close too: source files are handled for the
job you start, generated files have a short download window, and support requests should use job IDs rather than
pasted receipt or source-file contents.
A clean export is only useful when the file matches the route. Choose the receipt route for receipts, keep the
original file until you have checked the result, and treat any missing or unusual field as a reason to review
before important use. If the preview looks off, that is the designed signal to stop.
